Centre Directors / Nominated Supervisors

Who We Are:

At Kool Beanz, we’re a family-owned company with years of experience leading in the childcare sector. We are looking for Centre Directors/Nominated Supervisors to join our team and become part of the Kool Beanz family, supporting children and families in our local community.

The Position:

This role is a leadership role where you will be engaging with children on a day-to-day basis as well as leading and managing a team of educators all whilst building and maintaining strong positive relationships with children, their families and the local community.

Current Locations:

  • QLD – Southport and Mackay

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Centre
  • Increase occupancy
  • Plan and implement quality programs using your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Ensure the centre is consistently well presented and is a welcoming environment
  • Maintain and manage resources across the centre
  • Initiate and participate in key events and centre tours
  • Support the ongoing development of each staff member
  • Conduct thorough staff inductions and performance management

You Will:

  • have 5+ years’ experience as a Director / Nominated Supervisor as a minimum
  • have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA approved equivalent
  • have current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • have a paid Working with Children Check/Blue Card
  • be proficient in EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • oversee and support educators to deliver a high-quality educational program
  • create long-lasting connections and partnerships with the local community, schools, and families
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
